HIV Counseling, Education, and Testing

BHC provides confidential HIV/AIDS counseling, education and testing services to residents in the Birmingham Metro Area. Clients are encouraged to practice safe sexual behaviors and to participate in testing and follow-up activities. BHC’s HIV/AIDS staff continues to focus efforts on minority men and women based on data that continue to indicate the severity of the continuing epidemic among African Americans. These services are free and remain confidential.
